So I suppose it's good to differentiate between the sports to avoid some international confusion. There is also bandy, an obscure version of ice hockey with a round ball and usually played outdoors. It's a lot like football. Which, of course, isn't football but soccer. New Zealand had women's and men's "Hockey" teams, and they play on the .... ground. Yet another memory, for me, of Minnesota.
